Introduction

Profhilo® is a world leading treatment which improves laxity and skin smoothness from the inside out. Containing hyaluronic acid, it stimulates the production of collagen and elastin for youthful skin texture and tone.

As we age, our skin loses its firmness, primarily due to a reduction in hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance that promotes the production of two types of protein, collagen and elastin, the key elements of youthful looking skin.

Profhilo® is a revolutionary injectable treatment that restores the levels of hyaluronic acid in the affected area, by being injected just beneath the surface of the skin.

Unlike dermal fillers, Profhilo® is not designed to add volume. Instead, it stimulates the production of new skin cells, which improve the appearance of the complexion.

What problems can Profhilo® treat?

What happens during Profhilo® treatment?

Emma will first assess your skin for suitability for Profhilo® treatment. She will discuss any concerns you might have and explain what to expect during the treatment.

Emma will apply a topical anaesthetic to the area before Profhilo® is then injected just below the surface of the skin using the BAP (Bio Aesthetic Points) method. The BAP method was developed especially for Profhilo® treatment to ensure that that product is evenly distributed through the facial tissues safely.

The treatment takes around 30 minutes.

Usually two treatments of Profhilo®, spaced one month apart, are recommended for the best results. Emma will discuss the right treatment plan for you.
