To make a long story short

About Emma

I am a Registered Nurse and Independent Nurse Prescriber with 22 years of experience. My career began at St Bartholomew’s School of Nursing, where I initially worked within the NHS in dedicated intensive care settings. In 2017, I shifted my focus to the field of medical aesthetics.

During my training in aesthetic medicine on London’s prestigious Harley Street, I discovered a natural affinity for aesthetics and a newfound enthusiasm to deliver treatments that enhance an individual’s appearance. I am passionate about achieving natural yet effective results.

In 2021, I founded Emma Wedgwood Aesthetics, allowing me to blend my passion and instincts with the excellent clinical skills I've honed over the past 7 years within the industry to create stunning, natural-looking outcomes.

I develop treatment plans collaboratively with my patients. All plans are uniquely tailored to address your specific skincare concerns, providing you with a completely bespoke experience.

I have a special interest in skin health and treating acne and have successfully helped numerous sufferers. My expertise in laser treatments was enhanced under the mentorship of a world-renowned cosmetic laser specialist, mastering skills that enable me to perform treatments for facial thread veins, rosacea, pigmentation, rejuvenation and acne scarring with state-of-the-art lasers.

I regularly attend training courses and update sessions as part of my professional development and commitment to safely administering medical aesthetic treatments to all my patients.

I am a member of the British Association of Cosmetic Nurses (BACN), the British Dermatological Nursing Group (BDNG), and the Aesthetic Complication Expert Group (ACE) and the Cosmetic Redress Scheme.
