Emma is a Registered Nurse and Independent Nurse Prescriber with 20 years experience. Having originally trained at St Bartholomew’s School of Nursing and progressing her career within the NHS dedicated intensive care setting, Emma switched her specialty in 2017 into the field of medical aesthetics.
During her aesthetic medicine training on London’s prestigious Harley Street, Emma discovered a natural affinity for aesthetics and a newfound enthusiasm to deliver treatments that enhance an individual’s appearance. Emma is passionate about achieving natural yet effective results.
Emma Wedgwood Aesthetics was founded in 2021, and it allows Emma to follow her passion and instinct alongside the excellent clinical skills learned over the past 4 years within the industry, creating stunning, natural-looking outcomes.
Emma develops treatment plans collaboratively with you. All plans are uniquely tailored to your particular skincare concern, giving you an entirely bespoke experience.
Emma has a special interest in acne and has successfully treated numerous acne sufferers. She was also mentored by world renowned and leading cosmetic laser specialist Dr Asif Hussein, mastering laser skills that enable her to perform treatments for facial thread veins, rosacea, pigmentation and acne scarring, using state of the art lasers.
Emma regularly attends relevant training courses and updates as part of her professional development and commitment to safely administer medical aesthetic treatments to all patients.
She is a member of the British Association of Cosmetic Nurses (BACN) and the British Dermatological Nursing Group (BDNG) and the Aesthetic Complication Expert Group (ACE).
